I’m a columnist, teacher, editor, playwright, and creator of the reading and music series Seed: Words + Music, and True Stories.
For 12 years, I was the head writer and co-producer of Live Wire, a radio show recorded in front of a live audience and now aired on over 200 public radio stations around the country.
You can read my work on McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, in Oregon Humanities Magazine on GoLocalPDX and the collection What Was I Thinking?: 58 Bad Boyfriend Stories on St. Martin’s Press.
Last fall I sold a book to Little, Brown called Okay Fine Whatever: The Year I Went From Being Afraid of Everything to Only Being Afraid of Most Things. It should be out in the fall of 2017. I hope you’ll buy it.
