I’m a columnist, teacher, editor, playwright, and creator of the reading and music series Seed: Words + Music, and True Stories.
For 12 years, I was the head writer and co-producer of Live Wire, a radio show recorded in front of a live audience and now aired on over 110 public radio stations around the country. I also hosted it for nine years.
You can read my work on McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, in Oregon Humanities Magazine on GoLocalPDX and the collection What Was I Thinking?: 58 Bad Boyfriend Stories on St. Martin’s Press.
My first book, Okay Fine Whatever: The Year I Went From Being Afraid of Everything to Only Being Afraid of Most Things is coming from Little, Brown on July 31, 2018. I hope you’ll buy it.
